Philosophical Inquiry in Schools. This course is a seminar in pre-college philosophy, and is a follow-up course to Philosophy 205. Students should have already taken 205 or have instructor permission to enroll in this class. Students enrolled in 495 must be advanced undergraduate philosophy students. Part of this course involves helping to lead philosophy sessions in local elementary schools. Offered jointly with PHIL 595A.Service learning offered.

Catalog Description: 
Explores methods for introducing philosophy to K-12 students, focusing on ways to establish "communities of philosophical inquiry."
