In this seminar graduate students learn and develop skills for teaching quiz sections of lecture courses in philosophy as well as designing their own course. Topics include creating an inclusive classroom environment, generating dynamic discussions, fairness in grading, and time-management skills. Students also examine current literature on pedagogy and develop classroom activities that implement ideas from that literature. Prerequisite: graduate standing in philosophy. Credit/no-credit only.
