A third of the faculty and a growing number of graduate students in Philosophy have active research and teaching interests in feminist philosophy of science and applied ethics, as well as the philosophical underpinnings of gender studies. Our strengths lie in feminist philosophy of science and in applied ethics, and we have hosted a number of high profile conferences as well as the editorial office of Hypatia, A Journal of Feminist Philosophy.
For a comprehensive view of faculty and graduate students in our department with an interest in feminist philosophy, as well as a their publications on feminist philosophy, please see the feminism and feminist theory fields of interest page.
