Topic: A study of Aristotle's De Anima with a preliminary look at Plato's theory of the soul.
There are continuities and discontinuities between Plato’s and Aristotle’s respective theories of soul or psychology. The aim of the seminar is to examine their respective views concerning the relation between soul and body, moral psychology and the role of practical reason, as well as the relation of sense to intellect.
