Call for Papers: UW Grad Student Conference, March 11-12, 2016

The University of Washington Graduate Student Conference in Philosophy is coming this spring! The conference will be held March 11-12, 2016, and will feature Professor Kevin C. Elliott of Michigan State University as the keynote speaker. The theme of the conference is "Values in Science" (broadly construed). Papers in any area of philosophy will be considered, but those that relate to the conference theme will be given preference.

We invite graduate students to submit papers by email to philgrad.conf.uw@gmail.com with "submission" included in the subject line by January 18, 2016.Please prepare papers for blind review and submit as an attachment in .doc or .pdf format. Papers should be 3,000 words or less and suitable for a 30 minute presentation. In the body of your email, please include the author's name, institutional affiliation, contact details, the paper title, a word count, and a brief abstract (no more than 300 words).
