Ph.D. from University of Washington, 1990
Ann Baker received her doctorate from the University of Washington in 1990. Prior to returning to Seattle to teach in 1994, she taught at Illinois Wesleyan University, a small, private college focusing on the liberal arts in Bloomington, Illinois. Prior to her retirement, she taught a large introductory course every year in addition to various courses in metaphysics, epistemology, the history of modern philosophy, and occasionally a course on personal values.
