Steve Gardiner will be a member for the Committee on International Cooperation for a three-year term starting July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2019. As part of the committee, Steve will supervise the international activities of the association which include planning for international conferences, publicizing philosophical activity abroad, facilitating the exchange of information and research between American philosophers and those in other countries, providing support and assistance to philosophers subjected to unfair treatment in other countries, and assisting philosophical organizations abroad.
The committee is also responsible for selecting the winner of the Baumgardt Memorial Fellowship for the support and dissemination of research in the field of ethics.
