Ian Schnee is a Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the philosophy department. He works on the philosophy of video games, film, AI, mind, and reasoning, including authoring a textbook and software for formal logic courses. He's a member of the Dean's Academy Futurists and the research cluster for writing pedagogy with AI. He co-led the Evidence-Based Teaching Program in UW's Center for Teaching and Learning and in 2020 won the UW Distinguished Teaching Award.
