Ian is a Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the philosophy department. He’s the author of The Logic Course Adventure, an interactive textbook for formal logic courses. His current research interests include the philosophy of film and video games, epistemology, and pedagogy. In 2020 he won the UW Distinguished Teaching Award.
